Penny first appears in episode 1 on holiday with Charles and Diana. Elliot Cowan who plays the role of husband Norton joins them on the trip.

Natascha Mcelhone will be performing in The Crown for the first time and she is a British actress who has appeared in numerous movies. Natascha was born on the 14th of December in 1971 and she hails from London. She finished her graduation in London in Music and Dramatic Art in 1993.
Later on Natascha started her career in theatre with roles in stage plays including Richard III and A Midsummer Nightโs Dream before she made her television debut in the BBCโs Bergerac in 1991.
As of 1998, she got married to Martin Hirigoyen Kelly and they welcomed three children. Their son Theodore was born in 2000, their second child Otis was born in 2003. Their third child Rex was born in 2008. But unfortunately, Nataschaโs husband passed away in 2008.
