Natalee Holloway’s Mother
Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Beth now resides in Alabama. She was previously married to Natalee’s father, Dave Holloway, until 1993. She later married businessman George Twitty in 2000, and their marriage lasted until 2006.
Beth is a speech pathologist and a motivational speaker. She played a key role in establishing the Natalee Holloway Resource Center in partnership with the Crime Museum, an online hub for education and crime prevention.
The Center also provides support to families of missing individuals and offers safety advice to the public.
In April 2022, Beth, along with television journalist Nancy Grace, reportedly had a confrontation with local police during a trip to Aruba. This incident occurred while they were filming for the TV series titled “A Natalee Holloway Investigation,” which aired on Fox Nation.
The altercation with the police was partially captured on camera and stemmed from the two women allegedly filming in a hotel without permission.
Nancy Grace expressed that the authorities were keen to arrest them, especially Natalee’s mother, as they did not want negative publicity about Aruba affecting tourism during the upcoming summer season.
Their investigation during this trip reportedly yielded new information concerning the timeline of Natalee’s disappearance.
Natalee Holloway’s Father
Following their divorce in 1993, both Dave and Beth Holloway remarried. In 1995, Dave, who worked as an insurance agent, married a woman named Robin. In 2012, a judge declared Natalee dead, a decision that Beth did not support.
Dave believed his daughter had passed away even before he journeyed to Aruba in the wake of her disappearance, stating that it was highly likely something terrible had occurred considering the circumstances.
Natalee Holloway Siblings
18 year old Natalee Holloway had a younger brother named Matt, who was 16 years old when she went missing. According to the Daily Mail, Matt became a father to a daughter named Rylee Holloway in December 2014. Natalee also has two half-sisters, as Dave and Robin share two daughters.
Suspect in the Case
Joran van der Sloot, the main suspect in Natalee’s disappearance, was extradited to the United States in June 2023 due to his involvement in a fraud case, as stated by Peruvian officials.
This new case against Van der Sloot involved allegations of fraud and extortion related to Beth Holloway, according to the Peruvian government. Court documents revealed that in 2010, Van der Sloot faced criminal charges in Birmingham, Alabama, relating to extortion and wire fraud.
A criminal complaint from the same year alleged that he had promised to reveal the location of Natalee’s remains and details of her death in exchange for thousands of dollars sent to the Netherlands.
Beth Holloway wired $25,000, $15,000 to his Netherlands account, and $10,000 to a New York lawyer who was supposed to deliver the money to him in Aruba.
Additionally, Van der Sloot is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in Peru for the 2010 murder of 21-year-old Stephany Flores.
