Nancy Feldman accused of s*xual harassment
Alex Cooper recently accused her former college soccer coach Nancy Feldman of s*xual harassment in her 2025 Hulu docuseries Call Her Alex. According to Cooper, Nancy harassed her s*xually during her sophomore year at Boston University. Cooper further added how the harassment included inappropriate physical contact and intrusive questions about her s*x life, besides making attempts to isolate her.
Nancy described the whole experience as a “psychotic game” where Nancy conditioned playing time based on personal disclosures. Cooper and her parents reported the behavior to BU officials, but they claim that the school reportedly dismissed their concerns and never launched any investigation. As a result, Cooper quit the team before her senior season but managed to retain her scholarship.

The claims have since sparked all kinds of widespread attention, more so after Cooper detailed a lack of response from BU’s athletic department. With the allegations sparking public scrutiny, all eyes are now on Boston University and how they handle the claims. According to Cooper, she waited nearly a decade to speak up about the issue, but she is now determined to share her truth. Meanwhile, Feldman, who is now retired, is yet to issue a public response.
However, numerous Boston University (BU) Women’s Soccer alumni have signed a letter in support of former head coach Nancy Feldman several days after Alex Cooper accused her of s*xual harassment in her recently released Hulu docuseries, Call Her Alex.
The letter had 99 former Terriers athletes’ signatures from a representative of BU Women’s Soccer alumni which spoke in support of Feldman.

Nancy Feldman is a former college soccer coach who is being accused of s*xual harassment. Prior to the allegations against her, she was a respected figure in American women’s college soccer and is best known for leading Boston University’s women’s program for nearly three decades. Although Feldman’s exact age is unknown, she is likely in her early 60s.
Nancy was raised in Needham, Massachusetts, and grew up playing multiple sports, developing a strong passion for soccer at the young age of 13. Despite facing early setbacks like never getting to play in the Little League due to her gender, Feldman has pursued athletics with determination, eventually earning a place in collegiate sports.
Education
Nancy Feldman graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1983. Following which she completed a master’s degree in exercise and sport studies at Smith College in 1988. During her time at Amherst, she was a notable student-athlete at UMass Amherst and played as a forward and midfielder, setting a school record of scoring four goals during a single game.
Coaching career
After completing her education, Nancy Feldman served as a coach at Plymouth State and Lake Forest College. She eventually became the first head coach of Boston University’s Division I women’s soccer program in 1995. Nancy spent over 27 seasons with the team, building a powerhouse team that managed to rack up 326 wins and 14 NCAA tournament appearances. Feldman eventually retired in 2022, earning conference coach of the year honors about 12 times.
Marriage and children
Nancy Feldman is married to her longtime partner, Emily, with whom she shares two adult children and two grandchildren. The couple has kept their personal life largely private and only occasionally mentions her family in public interviews.
