The family of a Sydney educator Myron Love who died in a plane crash in Nepal said he “lived his life to the fullest” before his untimely death

Myron Love, a resident of Bronte, was a passenger on the Sunday crash of a Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

At least 68 people were killed in the Pokhara plane crash, making it the deadliest aviation accident in Nepal in 30 years. The country is home to the tallest mountains in the world, including Mount Everest, and rapid weather shifts can be dangerous for planes.

Myron Love, a teacher from Sydney, was one of 15 foreign nationals on board the Yeti Airlines flight that crashed. Fifty-three Nepalese people, including Love, were on the fateful aircraft, along with five people from India, four from Russia, two from Korea, one each from Argentina, France, and Britain.

British ballet dancer Ruan Crighton has been confirmed as the victim. Crighton, 34,was from Brentwood, Essex, and graduated from the Central School of Ballet in 2008, before joining the Slovak National Theatre.

It is assumed that all seventy-two people on board, including the four members of the crew, perished. The remains of two people have not been located. Love’s family and Annabelle Bailey’s family issued a statement through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Those who know Love well say that he lives in the Bronte neighbourhood to the east. While his current status is unknown, the Department of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Australian embassy is “urgently seeking to ascertain the welfare of the Australian” who was on board the tragic flight.

The Love family has declined to comment until they hear from the embassy regarding their loved one’s health. Artist and close friend James Lesjak-Atton posted a touching homage to Love on Instagram.

Nepal flight crash was deadliest in 3 decades

According to the Aviation Safety Network, it is the deadliest aviation catastrophe in Nepal in 30 years. Although more than 700 people have died in air disasters in the nation since 1992.

On January 15, the fatal aeroplane took off to travel the 200 kilometres between Katmandu and Pokhara. Pokhara International Airport had only been opened a few of weeks before to the tragedy.
