Muskaan Bawa holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and holds a merit certificate as well after securing first position in her examination. According to her she secured the first rank among students from 27 institutions of Punjab University.
She has claimed shifting cities was a turmoil filled time for her but has no qualms in relocating to a new country entirely for pursuing her education further. While she blabbers about yearning for accruing money to go to Harvard, she is a model with Yash Models with her owning an iPhone as well to put her need for a fundraiser to sword.
According to her, her parents are seperated and her mother is a government employee. She joins an illustrious string of names which have over the last couple of years made a beeline on such online portals to rake in a staggering amount of cash for different reasons.
Bawa has worked for Edtech startups, nonprofit organizations, and mental health organizations primarily. She mentioned that “She was a part of UN-affiliated organizations for a span of almost 4 years in domains related to school management, education policy, community management, and counseling and teaching.”
Muskaan Bawa is seeking financial aid of almost 24 lakhs via a fundraising platform named Ketto. She has raised 13 lakhs out of the total amount with the help of her friends and well-wishers. She wants to pursue her Master’s from Harvard University to expand her understanding of Psychology.
However, many people are also criticizing her for seeking help for education. According to such people, fundraisers are not meant for educational aid, they are to support people with diseases or ailments. She has asked people to share her fundraiser on their social media handles and chat groups so that she can receive the utmost benefit.
Many users have slammed her by writing negative comments on her fundraiser. In her fundraiser, Muskaan stated, “her goal is to speared child counselor and psychologist awareness among parents and students in India.” She wants to collaborate with schools and implement Social Emotional Learning programs. Also, she added that her goal is to foster healthy emotional skills among emotionally distressed children”.
