Reports say that Morgan Daub, an age 26-year-old woman from York County, Pennsylvania, is suspected of killing both her parents and herself in a “very unusual” incident

Investigators say that Morgan Daub’s YouTube videos showed signs that her mental health was getting worse. In an eight-minute video, she said she was giving up the throne and would not be the Queen of England.

She also said that if she took the throne, she would become the Antichrist. Morgan Daub also said she was loyal to God and called herself “the prophet of the most highest God.”

Chief of Police for West Manchester Township, John Snyder, talked about the video and said that the family was made up of very religious Christians. He also said that there were mental health problems in the family and used Morgan Daub’s YouTube video as “pretty clear” proof.

When police found the bodies of Morgan Daub, 26, her mother Deborah Daub, 59, and her father James Daub, 62, in their backyard on January 25, 2023, they thought the three of them had agreed to kill themselves.

A York Dispatch report says that when police went to the family’s home at 2098 Loman Avenue in West Manchester to check on their health, they found suicide notes from each member of the family. This made the situation more complicated.

Lead detective investigates handwritings of victims

Timothy Fink, the lead detective in the case, talked to the local media about what the notes told police. He also noticed that each person’s handwriting was used. James Daub wrote in a note that he wanted to kill himself, but there were only two guns and he was too nervous to pull the trigger. So Deborah did it for him.

Deborah wrote in a note that she couldn’t pull the gun’s trigger, so her daughter did it for her. It should still be considered a suicide, though. Each family member also left behind notes that said, “Morgan had told her mother that she was having auditory hallucinations which were not getting any better.”

On January 26, the York County Coroner’s Office sent out a press release that explained how each family member died.

Morgan Daub shoot parents in the head

Due to a gunshot wound to the head, the Coroner’s office decided that both Deborah Daub and James Daub had been killed. They also said that Morgan Daub had killed himself by shooting himself in the head. The Coroner’s Office did note, though, that the death seemed to have been planned by the members.

After a thorough investigation and finding evidence at the scene, such as letters from the family members, it was decided that the three family members had planned their deaths ahead of time. As of now, there won’t be any criminal charges, and the investigation was in line with what was found at the scene, so there won’t be any autopsies.
