Monty Desai, an Indian professional cricket coach, is the current head coach of the Nepalese national side. He was born in Mumbai, India. Indian Cricket Coach Monty Desai was born on 18 October 1971 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is 51 years old (as of 2023). He stands 6.1 ft tall.

He started his coaching career with the Andhra cricket team, where he served as team captain during the 2018โ19 Ranji Trophy season. Later, he became a batting coach for the national teams of Afghanistan in 2018 and the United Arab Emirates in 2019. He was named the Canada national team’s Division Two head coach for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League.
