Mohsina Bano is a native of Tikamgarh district in Madhya Pradesh. She was honored by the collector for securing the third rank in her district when she was in 10th grade. This encouragement inspired her to go into the field of civil service.
She is the daughter of a paan shop owner but her parents’ names and age isn’t known. She has succeeded in becoming a deputy collector.
Mohsina has made Bundelkhand proud by holding a rank in the State Subordinate Services (PCS). Bano was born to Haji Ikram Khan. She has secured 7th rank in the final selection results which were released by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPCS). Mohsina’s father Haji runs a paan and a grocery shop in the city, near the Purana bus stand while her mother’s name is Shahjahan and she is an Anganwadi worker.
Mohsina Bano was deeply interested in her studies since she was a kid. She received her primary education from the local school in her hometown. She was a topper in her district in 12th grade and she topped in Mathematics as well. Mohsina said, ‘both the times when she topped she was awarded by the Collector and this inspired her to opt for civil service.’
Before joining the post of naib tehsildar, she was selected for the post of Deputy Collector. Recently the results of the year 2021 examination were released. In this, Mohsina Bano succeeded in becoming a Naib Tehsildar of UP by holding 5th rank. Mohsina Bano was scheduled to join Jhansi on the 27th of April for her further training. But her selection as a Deputy Collector was announced before that.
According to Bano, Focus and constant effort, are the keys to success.
After her selection, Mohsina said, “If you have set your goals and you are really working hard with true dedication and honesty, success is sure.”
