A tragic event has surfaced in New Delhi, wherein Saleem who is the lover of Sonia, and two accomplices, Pankaj and Sohit, are accused of killing and burying a 19-year-old pregnant lady in the Rohtak area of Haryana.
The unfortunate incident appears to have been caused by Salim’s refusal to marry Sonia, who was reportedly seven months pregnant, and keep their kid.

Age 21 Mohammed Salim from Nangloi, Delhi, who is also known as “Sanju,” was taken into custody after Sonia’s family reported her missing on October 23. In Madina village, Rohtak, the inquiry found pregnant Instagram influencer Sonia’s body in a four-foot-deep grave after she was murdered by her boyfriend and dumped in a local field.
Sonia had built a notable following of 7,000 on Instagram, her sights set on transforming her online popularity into a career as a social media influencer, a path she hoped would uplift her family’s financial standing. Yet, her aspirations took a tragic turn when she became romantically involved with Mohammed Salim, who was known as Sanju who ended up murdering her after she pressured him to marry her.
Age 19 Sonia who lived in Nangloi, Delhi was pregnant and had wanted to keep the baby, but age 21 Salim had asked her to get an abortion. On Karwa Chauth, Sonia visited Sanju to press for marriage, but the next day, she left her house with some belongings and cash, only to be found dead with her brother Manish reporting her as missing. Saleem aka Salim had used two other people for the murder with one more accused Pankaj arrested as well while one is absconding.
Sonia, born to migrant parents from Bihar, had seen her family struggle with limited means with her living with her family in Nangloi in Delhi. Her father worked as a fodder seller, while her mother toiled as a domestic worker. Financial constraints forced age 19 Sonia to leave school after completing Class X, her sister Neha revealed. Using the familyโs modest savings, Sonia had bought a smartphone and dedicated her days to creating content, waking at 9 am to finish household chores and care for her dog before making reels.

Sonia had several wounds, including marks from sharp objects, which suggested a vicious attack. According to Sonia’s brother, she and Saleem had been dating for almost a year. Saleem allegedly picked her up on October 21, drove to Rohtak with Pankaj and Sohit, and killed her after consuming alcohol. Before burying her, they allegedly strangled her once more with a mobile charger wire to guarantee her death.
Saleem said she didn’t want to talk to her family when they attempted to get in touch with her. But Sonia’s brother-in-law allegedly heard someone say, “Dig the pit deeper,” during a call, which raised questions. The family was alarmed and went to the police, who were reluctant at first but started looking into the unusual talk. Two people have been arrested in connection with the case, and more investigations are still underway.

According to the victim’s relatives, Sonia was expecting a child and had desired to keep it, but Sanju had requested her to have an abortion. After visiting Sanju on Karwa Chauth to pressure him into marriage, Sonia left her home the following day with some money and possessions, only to be discovered dead.
On October 22, Sonia’s brother, age 22 Manish, reported her missing, sparking the start of the police inquiry. Manish believed Sanju had anything to do with her disappearance. Sanju admitted under questioning that he and his companions Pankaj Kumar and Ritik killed Sonia and buried her body in Rohtak’s Madina hamlet.
