“As you said, mixed feelings,” Muntari told BeIN Sports in a post-match interview. “It’s a privilege to score our first goal at the tournament but we ended up losing. This is our first time. It’s an experience and we will take the positives.”

Mohammed Muntari, a football player who has Qatari citizenship, was born on December 20, 1993, in Kumasi, Ghana and is 28 years old. He is 1.92 m (6 ft 4 in).
Muntari began his career at the Ghanaian Golden Lions Soccer Academy before being enlisted by the Aspire Academy in Qatar while still a youngster. He was given his first Qatari call-up in December 2014, and on December 27, 2014, he participated in his first game against Estonia in a friendly. In his first game, he was successful in scoring a goal for Qatar.
Muntari was joined by Lekhwiya in July 2015 after signing a five-year contract after being recruited by El Jaish, a club in Qatar’s premier flight, in 2012.
