Sienna Weir (age: 23, October 27, 1999, to April 2, 2023) was a model and also an Australian Miss Universe finalist.
Wier’s demise was confirmed by her representatives and family members, according to News.au. On April 2, she was riding her horse at the Windsor Polo Grounds when she fell. According to reports, Wier was on life support for two days after the accident and died as a result of her injuries.
Weir was active on Instagram, where she posted photos of her travels and modeling jobs. Following her death, her followers and friends left comments and condolences on her posts. “Rest in peace,” one follower wrote. “This pains me even more as a fellow equestrian.” “Rest in Peace,” a second person wrote.
Chris Dwyer, a photographer and Wier friend, shared a heartfelt tribute. “You were one of the kindest souls in the world, you lit up the room and the world is a lot darker now that you are gone,” he wrote. “Hope wherever you are, you’re being the gremlin we all know and love. Miss you so much already.”

For those unversed, Weir graduated from Sidney University with a double major in English literature and psychology. She was also an avid equestrian, revealing in an interview with Gold Coast Magazine that she had been involved with the sport since she was three years old.
In an earlier interview, the 23-year-old opened up about her family and she said “My family aren’t quite sure where this passion came from, but I’ve been horseriding since I was three years old and can’t imagine my life without it.”
She further added that “I travel to rural Sydney two-three times a week to train and compete around New South Wales or broader Australia every other weekend.”
“I believe that while it is so important to stand by what you believe in and what you love, you never know what opportunity is just around the corner, and it is vital to push yourself to try new things and to fully know yourself,” Weir, dubbed “Gremlin” by her friends, continued. I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t done so!”
When asked what her “essential qualities” were by Australia’s then-reigning Miss Universe Daria Varlamova, Weir replied, “I would have to say being open to opportunities, sociability, dedication, being multi-faceted as an individual, and having integrity.”
