In an interview Milla Magee said, ‘I’m six foot and was always the tallest at school. I was the only girl standing in a sea of boys, towering above my friends. It gave me a complex. ‘At 14, I weighed 14 stone. I always felt big. From that, it created body image dysmorphia.’
She was born and raised in London, where she attended “Morehouse” school. At the age of 15, she relocated to Cornwall to complete her schooling, where she currently resides with her family.
Milla Magee left the Miss World pageant in anger over the organizers taking advantage of the contestants and forcing them to sit all day in ball gowns and wearing makeup like performing monkeys. Milla even claimed to feel like a s*x worker. Despite its slogan, “beauty with a purpose,” she charged that the contest was mired in the past.

Milla mentioned her ethical dilemma over the way the pageant was conducted. On May 16, she made her way back to the UK. Charlotte Grant, the runner-up for Miss England, arrived in Hyderabad on May 22nd to compete after her midway exit.
After Milla Magee exposed the negative aspects of the contest, the Telangana Congress administration was also severely embarrassed. The government’s main reasons for allowing the Miss World contest were tourism and state promotion.
The government was accused by the opposition, especially the BRS, of squandering public monies on pointless events like the pageant. Following Milla’s interview, the BRS social media accounts emphasized it, saying that the state was greatly embarrassed by the incident.
