Chidimma decided to withdraw following harsh criticism over her origins and claims about her motherโs identity.

Mia le Roux bio
Mia le Roux is a South African beauty pageant titleholder who was born in 1996, in Sasolburg, Free State. She eventually relocated to Oudtshoorn, in the Western Cape along with her family. Le Roux got diagnosed with major hearing loss when she was just one years old and as a result, she had to receive a cochlear implant in order to help her hear.
She was recently crowned as Miss South Africa 2024 and will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2024. Following the win, Mia is the first woman deaf contestant to win the title and the first woman with a physical disability on the Miss Universe stage.
Mia’s parents, Liesel and Schalk Le Roux have played a crucial role in her success and are co-owners of a newspaper and PostNet in Oudtshoorn.

Mia le Roux is currently 28-years-old and stands at a height of 1.77 m (5 ft 10 in).
Education
Mia graduated from Oudtshoorn High School, and later attended the Sport Science Institute of South Africa where she graduated with a nutrition certificate. She also obtained a diploma in exercise specialist from Eta College. She currently also studies BCom marketing as a part-time student from the University of South Africa.
Profession and carer
Le Roux works as a part-time model and marketing manager and attends the University of South Africa to study marketing. Roux recently won her first major beauty pageant in Miss South Africa 2024, held at the SunBet Arena, Menlyn. Pretoria. During the competition, Le Roux competed against nine other contestants after being previously announced as one of the 30 semifinalists earlier this year in May 2024.
Following her win, Roux received a whopping R1 million in cash as well as a sponsorship package. She also received a serviced flat at Tricoltโs Brookfield at Royal in Kensington for a year, as part of the package. The apartment comes with some gorgeous Schรถnn furniture and home decor, as well as various accessories from Woolworths Home. Le Roux will also get to drive a Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupรฉ for the next twelve months.
