Famous Indian Singer Bhupinder Singh died on Monday, July 18th in a Mumbai hospital at the age of 82, know about his wife Mitali, her age and biography
The singer is survived by his wife Mitali Singh and 23-year-old son Anandeep Singh.
He was famous for singing classical music such as Naam Gum Jayega, Dil Dhoondta Hai and many others.

The news of his death was confirmed by his wife in a statement on Monday night. His wife, Mitali Singh told The Indian Express as, “He passed away on Monday and the funeral will be held mostly on Tuesday. He had a colon ailment”.
According to his wife’s statement, he was admitted to the hospital following a urine infection, wherein he was also diagnosed with Covid-19.
She said in her statement, “He was admitted to the hospital eight to ten days ago as he had some infection in the urine. After tests were performed, he tested positive for COVID-19. He passed away at around 7.45 pm due to suspected colon cancer and had COVID-19”.
Who is Mitali Singh?
Mitali Singh was born in Mymensingh, a city in Bangladesh. Her real name is Mitali Mukherjee. Mitalee also likes music and she started learning classical music under Pt. Mithun Dey. Later she went on to study music at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Her entire songs list can be found here. She doesn’t have an Instagram profile.
While her exact date of birth isn’t known, she is envisaged to be aged between 70-80 years.
Mitalee released her first album ‘Saahil’ with the help of HMV. Throughout her career, she has sung in several Indian languages including Tamil and Gujarati. Mitalee also served as the judge on a popular TV show named ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ and ‘Shera Kontho’.
Mitalee married Bhupinder Singh in 1983. In an interview in 2013, Bhupinder said, “Singing brought us together. I heard her sing on TV in the 80s. Her voice had deep feeling. That quality still remains!”.
Who is Anandeep Singh?
Anandeep Singh aka Nihal, is the only child of his parents Mitalee Singh and Bhupinder. In an interview in 2013, Mitalee said, “Nihal (pet name) is 14. He has inherited music from us. If he has my sharp instincts, he’s got his father’s modesty. He never ever let anyone in school know that he could play the guitar so well”.
At the same time, Bhupinder also told the outlet that Nihal was into rock music. Although, there isn’t much information available about what he is currently doing.
