Averie Bishop is presently 25 years old and has graduated from the University of Southern Methodist She earned a Juris Doctor (law) degree. Averie Bishop was the first Filipino-American to win the Miss Texas pageant in 2022. Averie was the second runner-up in the Miss America of 2023.
Bishop has described herself as a “first-generation law student diversifying the digital space by education and career-based content.” Averie Bishop also proudly lists herself as a marathon runner who has dined and also taken selfies with two presidents.

Averie Bishop with her mother co-founded a non-profit organization, which is The Tulong Foundation. She is also the director of the foundation and the non-profit’s mission is to offer accessible education to children in developing countries. More than 45 plus children in the Philippines are now sponsored by the foundation.
Averie was born to her parents, Marevi Sabalilang And Danny Bishop, in Texas who were originally from the Philippines and moved to the US.
