On the show, Manya admitted that despite finishing in second place in the Miss India competition in 2020, she only managed to score one commercial in the following two years. The model said that her skin tone led to her rejection.

Who Is Manya Singh?
Manya Singh is an Indian model who is renowned for being the first runner-up of Miss India 2020. She has been in the news because she recently entered the 16th season of the popular TV show Bigg Boss.
Her nickname is Kajal. She was born in the year 2001 in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. She later relocated to Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Her father’s name is Omprakash Singh who was a rickshaw driver and her mother’s name is Monorama Singh who works at the parlor. She also has a young brother, however, his name is not known.
She did her schooling at S.M. Lohia High School, Maharashtra. She later attended Mumbai’s Thakur College of Science and Commerce, where she first did a bachelor’s in banking and insurance and then later did graduation in management.
She is currently unmarried and none of her love affairs has come to light as of now.
Her height is 170 cm or 5 ft 7 inches. Presently, she is 21 years old. Singh’s birthdate is on March 25, 2001 (Sunday) and birthplace is in the Uttar Pradesh village of Vikram Vishunpur.
Her Career
After doing some minor work at Pizza Hut and at a call center, Manya Singh started her career in modeling in her college days. She auditioned for campus princess more than 10 times, however, she wasn’t able to enter it.
She performed on the catwalk at a number of prestigious fashion events, including Times Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week. She has served as the face of print campaigns for companies like Ahilya Fine Silver Jewels.
In 2020, she received the title of Miss Indian Uttar Pradesh. She competed in the VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 competition on behalf of Uttar Pradesh, and on February 10, 2021, she was declared 1st runner-up in it.
She also did a bit of social media influencing. With her social media accounts, she has done endorsements for a number of companies, including Sephora and Staunch India.
Manya Singh appeared as a guest on season 12 of Indian Idol in 2021. She is now appearing in Bigg Boss 16.
