Mislav Orsic is a Croatian professional football player who competes for Dinamo Zagreb of the Prva HNL and the Croatian national team as a left winger or attacking midfielder. He won the bronze medal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup after scoring the game-winning goal in the 42nd minute.
Career
At 13, he joined the Inter Zapresic youth squad after starting his career with the Tresnjevka and Kustosija. At that young age, he had a high rate of goal-scoring. With 12 goals, he led the squad in scoring during the Prva HNL season of 2012–2013. In 2012, he went on to join Spezia Calcio, however, Orsic spell at the club didn’t go well and returned back home to join Rijeka.
For the 2014–2015 season, he was loaned out to Celje in Slovenia. In South Korea’s Jeonnam Dragons for the 2015–2016 season, he was loaned out again. Jeonnam acquired him for €750,000 around the end of the 2015–2016 campaign. Before joining Dinamo Zagreb again in 2018, Orsic competed in the Chinese Super League and the K League.
