She is married to Alex Bazzell, who co-founded the athlete tech startup Through the Lens and is a WNBA and NBA trainer. Collier was a high school student when they first met. The two got married in 2022. She attended University of Connecticut and pursued Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Collier watched Maya Moore, a fellow basketball player from Jefferson City, Missouri, play for the University of Connecticut before joining the Minnesota Lynx. On August 24, 2024, the Lynx retired Moore’s jersey.
