Mike Brown did his schooling at Würzburg American High School in Würzburg, Germany. Later, he attended Mesa Community College and the University of San Diego and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He is married, and his wife’s name is Carolyn Brown. He is the father of two sons named Elijah Brown and Cameron Brown. While Elijah is a basketballer like her father, Cameron is a footballer.

His career
Mike Brown began his career with the Denver Nuggets as a video coordinator and scout in 1992. He then worked as an assistant coach for several teams, including the Washington Wizards, San Antonio Spurs, and Indiana Pacers.
He took over as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2005, and in that capacity, he received the NBA Coach of the Year honor in 2009. He was hired by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2011 after being sacked in 2010, but was let go after just five games of the 2012–2013 season.
The Cavaliers later rehired Mike Brown in 2013, but in 2014, they sacked him once more. In 2016, he was hired as an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors and helped lead them to a championship during the 2016–2017 NBA season.
He was introduced as the next men’s national basketball team coach of Nigeria on February 5, 2020. He was named the Sacramento Kings’ next head coach on May 9, 2022.
