Mikaela Worley will soon be the wife of Washington Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves

On December 29, 2024, Washington Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves had a memorable day. He proposed to Mikaela Worley, a friend from high school and his longtime girlfriend, just after his team defeated the Atlanta Falcons 30–24 in overtime to secure their first postseason berth since 2020. Jeremy has had Mikaela, a physician assistant and former volleyball player from Pensacola, Florida, by his side through good times and bad, including his difficult 2023 recuperation from an ACL tear. Reaves won both on and off the field as the couple celebrated their significant occasion together.

Who is Mikaela Worley?

26-year-old Mikaela was born in Pensacola, Florida, on July 16, 1998, and was surrounded by sports while growing up.

Her Sherry mother was a volleyball player, and her father Alan was a football player at Livingston University. Her sister Katie excelled as a softball player at Georgia State, and her brother Austin played football at the Huntingdon College, continuing the family’s athletic legacy while her sister, Katie, made a name for herself in softball at Georgia State.

In volleyball, Mikaela Worley herself created a name for herself at the Milton High School, where she played for four years, won Offensive MVP, and was selected to several First-Team All-Area teams.

While studying biology and playing volleyball at the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks as an outside hitter from 2016 to 2019, Mikaela continued her sports career. After graduating from Brenau University with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, she changed her focus from sports to healthcare.

She now lives in Virginia and works as a physician assistant in urgent care medicine; these changes coincided with her developing a romantic involvement with Reaves.
