New Jersey native Lucky is back watching the 2023 U.S. Open from the stands. On Saturday night, she posted some images to her Instagram Story. She wants to take advantage of her rising popularity. Lucky, a 27-year-old ex-recruiter whose height isn’t known, spoke to The New York Post:

I got laid off from my corporate job back last fall and then I was traveling the world a little bit, to find myself, as cliché as that sounds.

“I still haven’t been able to truly monetize. So I’m starting to post more on my socials.”

Megan Lucky, the infamous U.S. Open beer girl, returned to the storied tennis event in Queens, but she didn’t appear as frequently as in previous years.

Lucky has become well-known online over the past two years thanks to her beer-chugging prowess, which went viral during the 2021 and 2022 U.S. Open competitions. Her social media accounts indicate that the 27-year-old native of New Jersey visited the Open on Friday.

As the tournament in 2021 progressed, Lucky gained notoriety when she was shown on the Jumbotron downing her Heineken. Tennis has a usually button-up persona, so the unconventional behaviour soon spread on social media and even made it onto ESPN.

Her return the following year resulted in her being shown on the video board once more and downing another beer; the US Open even posted about it on social media.

Lucky had previously revealed to The Post in August that she intended to come back for a third year in a row, and she said early last week that Beer Girl would in fact travel to Queens.
