His real name is Jaden Amere Hardy. He was born on July 5, 2002, in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Later, he, along with his family, relocated to Nevada. His father’s name was Ramsay who was also a basketball player. He also has one older sibling named Amauri, who was also a college basketball player at both UNLV and the University of Oregon.
He did his schooling at Coronado High School in Henderson, Nevada.
His height is 6 feet 3 inches, or 1.91 meters, and his weight is 198 lbs or 90 kg. He is currently 20 years old.
His career
Jaden Hardy started his career while he was attending school. During his junior year, he had impressive stats, averaging 30.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game. After opting out of his senior season, he announced that he would be joining the NBA G League on May 15, 2021.
During his time with the NBA G League Ignite from 2021 to 2022, he averaged 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. In the 2022 NBA draft, he was selected 37th by the Sacramento Kings but was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks on draft night.
Jaden Hardy joined the Mavericks for the 2022 NBA Summer League, where he continued to shine, scoring a career-high 29 points in a win over the Utah Jazz in February 2023. On March 11, 2023, he earned his first NBA start, recording 22 points, two rebounds, and three assists in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies, although the Mavericks ultimately lost.
On May 15, 2021, he announced that he would join the NBA G League, forgoing college basketball and chose the G League over offers from Kentucky and UCLA, among others.
