A recent federal lawsuit names James Dolan, the owner of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, and charges him with trafficking in private massage therapists.
Born on May 11, 1955, James Lawrence Dolan is an American businessman who presently holds the positions of executive chairman of MSG Networks, executive chairman and chief executive officer of Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment.

The Knicks and Rangers owner, Dolan, is accused of s*xually abusing massage therapist Kellye Croft in 2013, according to a complaint filed in California on Tuesday. In the lawsuit, Croft also claims that Dolan arranged for Weinstein and her to meet at a hotel, during which she claims Weinstein s*xually molested her.
According to AP News, Weinstein was detained in May 2018 and accused with r*pe in New York. He was convicted guilty of two of the five felony counts in February 2020. He is currently imprisoned in Wende Correctional Facility, having been given a 23-year prison term.
Additionally, she has said that Dolan prepared her for an alleged “vicious” attack by American film producer and convicted r*pist Harvey Weinstein. Meanwhile, The Guardian reports that the attorneys for both individuals have refuted the accusations.
Kellye Croft was working in 2013 with Glenn Frey of Straight Shot and Dolan’s JD on a tour. Dolan and Harvey have long been friends, and he once served on the Weinstein Company board of directors.
The lawsuit has claimed that James “summoned” Croft who was aged 27 at the time to his room on multiple occasions during the tour and “pressured” her into unwanted s*x. The alleged r*pe by Weinstein took place in a Los Angeles hotel room the following year during a meeting Kellye Croft put together by Dolan.
In the case, Croft is requesting both special and monetary damages. Ms. Croft put out a public statement which read:
James Dolan manipulated me, brought me to California to abuse me and then set me up for a vicious attack by Weinstein.
Further was stated:
My hope is that my lawsuit will force Dolan to acknowledge what he did to me and to take responsibility for the harm he has caused.”
