The pair have been married for many years. As per a report by CNN, the duo enjoyed travelling the world together. The couple lived together at their home in Atlanta, Georgia.

As per reports, the senior investigative journalist lost his life tragically on Sunday, December 17 after he lost his battle with cancer.
The 60-year-old reporter kept his illness private from his co-workers. Although, he is believed to have lived with cancer for many years which led up to his death.
The Chief executive of the CNN, Chris Licht, announced the death of Drew in an email to his staff members on Monday as he paid tribute to him.
