Man Singh became the second Indian to win a gold medal at the Asian Marathon Championships with an amazing timing of 2:14:19. As a member of the Indian team in the 2023 Asian Games, he placed eighth in the marathon with a time of 2:16:59. In the men’s event in Hong Kong, Belliappa Appachangada Bo of India, who finished 12th in 2:20:52 in the Asian Games, placed sixth.

Meanwhile, 2:08:10 seconds is the qualifying mark for the men’s marathon at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. 2:26:50s is the qualifying time for the women’s division. With a timing of 2:15:24, Huang Yongzheng of China won the silver medal, and Tiapkin Ilya of Kyrgyzstan finished third in 2:18:18.
