Manju Bala finishes 12th in the CWG22 Women's Hammer Throw competition with a best try of 60.96m. Her first two throws were over 57.26 and 59.95 respectively.

Manju Bala’s Education, Coach, And Family
Manju played volleyball till class 9th. One day, she went on a school trip to Jaisinghsar near Bikaner, where she first saw an athlete hurling a metal ball with a chain attached to it. Manju Bala immediately hooked on the sport and began practicing it after returning home.
Later on, she was spotted by coach Rajesh Poonia who trained her. Thereafter, Manju Bala went on to win a bronze at school nationals and gold at junior national. Bala completed the 4th at the Asian Junior Athletics Championship held in Jakarta. Her Father’s name is Vijay Singh and In an interview, she recalled her father’s struggles in raising three athlete kids and stated that,
She once stated, “Our father even in bad condition never stopped us from choosing a sport. He would take loans from fellow villagers to help us to pursue sports. He sent my brother Sandeep to practice at NIS Patiala, India. When Munish opted for boxing, my father would request bus drivers passing through the village to get her gloves from Jalandhar. When I began with the sport, a hammer would cost Rs 800.”

Later on, she got married to Ramesh Mann. After marriage, she shifted to Ladunda, Surajgarh Tehsil, in the Jhunjhunu District of Rajasthan, India. Currently, she is an Income Tax Inspector.
