On 16 March 2023, Mubama scored his first and only competitive senior goal for West Ham in the UEFA Europa Conference League, contributing to a 4–0 victory over AEK Larnaca after coming on as a substitute. Mubama was also a key player in West Ham’s victory in the 2023 FA Youth Cup, where the team defeated Arsenal 5–1 at the Emirates Stadium in April 2023. His hat-trick performance in the previous round against Southampton helped him finish as the tournament’s top scorer.
Mubama signed with Manchester City on 29 August 2024, with West Ham receiving a £2 million compensation fee. He made his debut for City on 11 January 2025, starting and scoring in a resounding 8–0 FA Cup third-round victory over EFL League Two side Salford City. Mubama, born in England, is of DR Congolese descent. He has represented England at various youth levels, including under-15, under-16, under-18, and under-19.
