Toby Collyer is an English professional footballer who was born on January 3, 2004, in Worthing, England. He currently plays as a defensive-midfielder for Premier League side Manchester United.

Toby Collyer earns £2,600 per week, £135,200 per year playing for Manchester United. In March 2022, he joined the Manchester United Academy and signed on a three-and-a-half-year deal after he failed to agree terms of a new contract with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Following a series of injuries to the United squad, Erik ten Hag has been forced to rely on the club’s younger players. While Omari Forson made his full debut in attack, Collyer also joined the bench alongside youngster Willy Kambwala.

Collyer has regularly featured for United’s Under-21s this season, besides making several appearances in the Premier League 2. He has also played twice in the EFL Trophy, against Stockport County and Salford City. Prior to the start of the season, he joined United’s squad for their pre-season opener against Leeds United in Norway, back in July. However, Toby never got the chance to play on the pitch, going as an unused substitute.

Collyer started out his footballing career in the Brighton & Hove Albion youth system at the under-12 level. He then went on to make his under-18 debut at age 15. He then established himself as a key player in 2020–21, helping Brighton finish third in the Premier League South and later helping them win the Premier League under-17s Cup. After his 17th birthday, he made his under-23s debut just a week later, playing the full 90 minutes against Spurs. Following his success with Brighton, he joined the Manchester United youth academy before eventually signing a 3-and-a-half-year deal with them.
