The president of organization mentioned that people can make mistakes, especially on vacation, and if the video hadn’t gone viral, it might have gone unnoticed.

However, he emphasized that her behaviour didn’t reflect the qualities they value, such as kindness and grace. The president highlighted that she was simply enjoying a vacation with her family in Thailand, like anyone else. He acknowledged that people sometimes get caught up in the moment and do silly things while on holiday.
Additionally, he pointed out that if the video hadn’t gained attention, it likely would have been a forgotten moment.
President Kitingan observed that there were mixed reactions to the video, some found it amusing, some sympathized with her, and others were upset and voiced their concerns. However, KDCA didn’t want to become a target or attract unnecessary attention due to this incident.
Viru Nikah Terinsip gave her crown back
Despite the public outcry, Terinsip gracefully accepted the organization’s decision and willingly relinquished her crown. Terinsip shared that she joined the Unduk Ngadau competition because she wanted to, and she returned the title without feeling pressured.
According to her, titles don’t hold the key to everything. It’s about believing in and valuing myself. Perfection or success isn’t defined by titles. She also acknowledged that she is not flawless.”
Terinsip, who was recognized for her content creation before stepping into the world of beauty pageants, openly admitted her mistake and expressed deep regret. “I stand by my decision and fully respect the organization’s decision. I sincerely apologize for my actions.”
