Maharaj is based on a libel case from 1862, in which religious leader Jadunathji Brijratanji Maharaj is said to have sued journalist and reformer Karsandas Mulji. Maharaj was a follower of the Hindu group known as the Vallabhacharya Sampradaya, whose beliefs were called into doubt in a defamatory article written by Karsandas Mulji.

He is slated to produce Pritam Pyare, which will have a five-minute cameo by Aamir Khan. In addition, Junaid and co-star Khushi Kapoor will appear in the Tamil film Love Today, which is a remake.

Junaid hasn’t been photographed by Mumbai paparazzi as much as other star youngsters. From the little images and videos, we have seen of him, he appears to be the man who gets unintentionally photographed by paparazzi or is captured on camera when he is with his father.
