What charges are filed against Lydia Pinto ?
On November 8, Pinto was apprehended by the police in Franklin, New Jersey, following a month-long investigation. Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald recently disclosed that a victim had reported engaging in a relationship with the former teacher, Lydia Pinto. Pinto is now confronting charges comprising two counts of second-degree s*xual assault and first-degree aggravated s*xual assault.
The Bridgewater police department’s s*x crimes and child abuse unit initiated action in response to an anonymous email, providing explicit details about Pinto’s purported improper relationship with the student over a span of four years. Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office’s S*x Crimes and Child Abuse Unit swiftly identified and interviewed the victim, now an adult, who affirmed that the s*xual incidents took place in Raritan Borough during high school.

After her arrest, Pinto spent time in the Somerset County Jail. As per reports by Fox News Digital, she was released on November 15, just seven days later, as she awaited her upcoming court date. Although it is known that Lydia is married, the identity of her spouse is unknown.
