Danette Colbert was detained at 9 p.m. on Thursday for reportedly making purchases throughout the city using the journalist’s credit cards. According to the media, she is presently being charged with a number of offenses, including bank fraud, access device fraud, and unlawful financial transmission.
She has been connected to several incidents by authorities in New Orleans and Las Vegas, including one in 2022 where she allegedly took £39,000 ($50,000) in cash, a £23,000 ($30,000) Rolex, and £8,700 ($11,000) worth of casino chips after allegedly tampering with a man’s drink.
She allegedly persuaded a man to welcome her back to his hotel room in another case, but when he woke up hours later, his belongings were gone.

When Colbert was discovered using a credit card that had been stolen at a Winn Dixie store in New Orleans in 2014, he was taken into custody. She left the scene after being recognized by store employees from a wanted poster issued by the police, only to return later with two accomplices to attack the store manager.
While they await the findings of Manzano’s toxicology tests, authorities have not ruled out boosting her charges.
The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office is testing Manzano’s corpse for toxins to see if he was drugged, although there were no obvious symptoms of violence. Given that his wife, Ashleigh Boyd, passed away in a car accident in Topeka, Kansas, just nine months prior, his passing is especially tragic. According to the media, their little daughter is now without both of her parents.
Manzano, who is originally from Mexico, has established a bright future in sports media by chronicling the Kansas City Chiefs’ incredible journey to a third straight Super Bowl participation. He had been on assignment interviewing NFL players like Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes just days before he passed away.
