Stefan Bajcetic Maquieira is a Spanish professional footballer who was born on October 22, 2004, in Vigo, Spain. He is currently 19 years old, and mainly plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back on the field. Stefan is the son of Srđan Bajčetić, who is a Serbian former professional footballer and the current manager of Celta C.

Career and stats
Stefan Bajcetic started out as a member of the Celta Vigo youth academy, before signing for Liverpool in December 2020 for a fee of £224,000. The young midfielder eventually rose at the club after debuting for the U18s as an U16 player in 2020-21 and then making his senior debut as a 17-year-old the following year in August 2022.
Liverpool eventually signed Bajcetic with a new contract in August 2022, and made his professional debut on August 27, 2022. He came on as a substitute during a 9–0 home victory over AFC Bournemouth. Bajcetic then made his debut in the UEFA Champions League during a match against Ajax on September 13, 2024. With his appearance, Stefan became Liverpool’s youngest-ever player in the Champions League.
Stefan Bajcetic scored his first senior goal during the 2022 Boxing Day match win over Aston Villa. The young midfielder eventually established himself as a regular in Liverpool’s senior squad following an impressive breakthrough 2022-23 season. He went on to make 19 appearances in for the senior team before suffering an injury, which sideline him for the rest of the 2023-24 season.
