Born Jo Hyo-won on July 30, 1988, Lip J is a well-known dancer who is well recognised for her waacking, a style of street dance that has been included in the Pick Me theme song from Produce 101 and performances by I.O.I. star Chungha. She has demonstrated her technique in judge showcases throughout Asia, including the KOD World Finals in Changsha, China, and the 2019 Line Up season 5 in Gwangju, South Korea.
She is referred to in South Korean media as the “Waacking Empress.”
In 2021, Lip J became well-known to the general public as a result of her appearance on the Mnet programme Street Woman Fighter.ย
She competed in Street Woman Fighter with Monika, Ham.G., DIA, Hyeily, Rosy, and Kayday as a part of the dance crew PROWDMON. Out of the eight female crews, they came in sixth.
Along with PROWDMON leader Monika, the 34-year-old is a member of the dance team Molip. They have lived together for at least five years and are good friends. Monika said, “I’ve considered how it would feel if Lip J passed away. She’s a buddy I value highly enough to consider actually following her to her demise.
Lip J was dating Hurrikane but is currently single. Her height stands at 5 feet 3 inches.
