Lindsey Burrow is the wife of the late rugby player Rob Burrow who passed away following motor neurone disease (MND). She is an NHS physiotherapist. The two started seeing each other ever since they were just 15.
The rugby star died after battling a long illness. He passed away at the hospital, in peace according to his family. The couple has a “great marriage, supportive families, and three beautiful children,” according to Lindsey, who has called their life “perfect.” In their early twenties, the couple got together, Daily Mail reported.
But when the former Leeds Rhino rugby player received the fatal and incurable diagnosis in 2019, they faced an unanticipated obstacle.
The aforementioned report further stated that according to Lindsey, she realised right away that she wanted to live out the rest of her life with Rob.
In a BBC documentary, Lindsey said that her husband would ask her to find someone else after his death; however, she refused as there “won’t be anybody else. No one can take Rob’s place,” reported Daily Mail.
Infact, her father wanted her to marry someone tall but Lindsey had never any doubt as “There was never going to be anyone else I was going to marry. I knew it from the start.” She further told that her late husband treated her like a “princess,” and it was “love at first sight.”
