The eerie picture was really of Jordan Riki, a Broncos player, kissing a woman on the cheek. However, the image also showed Hampson in the background, “wearing one of his favourite caps and grinning widely,” the publication said.

The Australian rugby league star vanished from the party location at 4:30 on Tuesday morning, and his body was found on Wednesday, October 19.
Club Employees Found Liam Hampsonโs Body In The Nightclub
The spokeswoman for Barcelona’s Mossos d’Esquadra police unit told reporters in Australia that Hampson’s body was discovered by club employees. Officers immediately realised the individual was an Australian citizen who had already been officially reported missing, the author said.ย
He said, “Officers started working on trying to identify the person. At this time, everything points to death being an accident. I don’t know the exact day he was reported missing, only that it was recentlyโ.
The representative said that Hampson’s death was “the result of a fall of about 10 metres,” although she did not elaborate on how or from where exactly he fell. “I can confirm the body was located in an area that forms part of the nightspot,” he said, “but at this moment I am unable to assist with any additional information on exactly where he was found or whether it was in a private area or an area available to the public.”

When the 24-year-old had earlier inexplicably vanished, his sister, Tiarna, had posted on the internet, pleading for anyone travelling in the Barcelona area to keep an eye out for Liam.ย
โHey buddies, trying to contact our mate Liam Hampson,” Bryce Donovan, a friend of Hampson, also shared. โI’m in Spain right now. If anyone knows of any updates or can get in touch. Please inform me.โ
But after Hampson’s body was discovered, the young man’s family and friends hunt for him came to an extremely devastating end. Brett, his grieving father, posted on Facebook, “We are horrified to learn that Liam had an accident and regrettably has not survived. Waking up to the news no one wants to hear. We are devastated, to put it mildly. Liam was a beloved son, brother, grandchild, uncle, and friend who had a heart of gold.
“Words cannot adequately express our sorrow. We are very grateful to Liam’s friends for helping in the hunt for our son when he was having the time of his life with them. We are thinking of them. As we navigate this period, we ask that the media respect our privacy.โ
