As per a report by Page Six, the tragic news of the singer’s passing was confirmed by his rep, who in a statement told the outlet, “It is with great regret to confirm Aaron Carter was found unresponsive this morning in his home in Palmdale, CA.”

The rep further added, “The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles. Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family.”
As per a report by TMZ, multiple sources revealed that Carter’s body was found in his bathtub.
In the wake of his passing, many are remembering his sister, Leslie Carter, who died on January 31, 2012 due to drug overdose at the age of 34.
Who’s Leslie Carter?
Leslie was also a singer, who debuted through DreamWorks Records in 2001 with her single “Like Wow!”
Later, in 2006, she went on and joined a band named The Other Half, with whom she stayed till 2009.
Leslie was the third of 5 children of Jane Elizabeth Spaulding Carter and the late Robert Carter and the sister of model Angel.
Leslie married Mike Ashton in 2008 and moved to Toronto, Ontario. The duo shared a daughter named Alyssa Jane Ashton.
Just before her death, Leslie planned to go on a rehabilitation to overcome her drug addiction, however, she didn’t get the chance as she passed away due to drug overdose.
After the death of the singer, their family released a statement declaring they request privacy as it’s their private matter.
Their statement reads, “Our family is grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time.”
Coming back to why everyone is remembering her amid the shocking death news of Aaron. For those who are unversed, let us tell you, back in September, 2019, Aaron made a shocking claim.
Aaron took to his social media and revealed that his late sister had raped him for years when he was a child.
He also claimed that his sister suffered from bipolar disorder. As per a statement his sister raped him, “when she wasn’t on her medications.”
