The single mom to son Alessandro met Eric Rosenbrook, a divorced father of 3, after he posted a personal ad on a dating website and the two video chatted for some time before Leida, who is from Indonesia, went to meet Eric face to face in his home state of Wisconsin.

On Friday, October 5, 2023, Margaretha was reportedly detained for allegedly stealing from her employers and clients by making withdrawals and payments from the company’s business account.
According to some accounts, Leida Margaretha, who was arrested and sent to jail in Wisconsin, was charged with wire fraud against a financial institution, forgery, and theft in a commercial setting.
Leida Margaretha stole from Loggerhead Deco’s clients and her job.
Lt. Ben Neuman of the Portage Police Department claims that on October 5, 2023, after receiving a report of an internal theft at Loggerhead Deco, a business that decorates glass bottles, officers started looking into Leida Margaretha.
Investigators came to the conclusion soon after that Margaretha had used the business’s account details to make unauthorised payments to and withdrawals from accounts outside of the company. Margaretha made unauthorised purchases and took client information from the company account.
According to the authorities, the victims, who were all from Wisconsin, complained that their bank accounts had several thousand dollars missing.

Leida Margaretha Shot To Fame With The TLC Series 90 Day Fiance
Leida Margaretha became well-known as a result of her participation in Season 6 of the TLC reality series 90 Day Fiance. The programme focused on long-distance couples who had three months to get to know one another before deciding whether to get hitched or risk being deported.
Because of her propensity for embellishing and exaggerating the circumstances surrounding her life, Margaretha developed a polarising reputation among followers. She relocated from Indonesia to Wisconsin to live with her fiancé, Eric Rosenbrook, in 2018.

As per the Portage Police Department, further charges could be brought if the investigation continues. The officials are still trying to identify the new victims.
