Lee Fitting will take over as the new Head of Media & Production, the company said on January 9. In a press release, the company announced the move and hailed Fitting as a “media industry veteran.”

Just after Kevin Dunn, the longtime head of production for WWE, left, the position was filled. Before his departure was made public in late December, Dunn had worked with WWE for more than around 40 years.

Lee Fitting is the new head of media and production for WWE replacing Kevin Dunn who worked there for around four decades. He was born in Orient, New York and is a B.S in Mass Communication graduate from James Madison University.

With over twenty years of production experience, Fitting joins WWE from ESPN, where he most recently held the position of SVP of production, managing all college and professional football.

Fitting leaves his 25-year tenure at ESPN to join WWE. He abruptly quit from ESPN in August, just five days before the network aired its first college football game of the year. While employed by the dominant sports broadcasting company, he managed the production of multiple telecasts, including Monday Night Football, College GameDay, and the College Football Playoffs. August 2023 saw him leave ESPN.
