The National Emblem, also known as “Ashok Stambh,” was created by sculptor Laxman of the Pink City and his group of artisans, and it was put on top of the new Parliament building in Delhi.

Construction
Laxman claims that the four-sided Ashok Stambh (lion pictures) is 6.5 metres tall, 9620 kilogrammes (620 kilogrammes) in weight, and constructed primarily of copper and tin. Four lions are positioned back-to-back on a circular abacus in the large carved insignia. Abacus frieze with dharma chakras separating statues of an elephant, a horse, a bull, and a lion.
He received a contract to begin work on it in February 2022, and with the diligent effort of 40 apprentice artists working under his direction, the team made it in 150 pieces. At the location, a gas welder assembled all the pieces that had been delivered in a truck, the man stated.
