The campaign, named “Let’s send our sister Lakhveer Kaur home,” is aimed at raising money to cover the costs of sending Lakhveer’s remains back to India.
The GoFundMe fundraiser is organized by Sukhvinder Kaur and set with a goal of raising £10,000. To date, contributions from 95 generous donors have already pushed the funds raised past the halfway mark, amassing over £5000.
