Andhra wicketkeeper Kuntrapakam Prudhviraj’s father is Kuntrapakam Narasimha. According to sources, Narasimha is one of the prominent politicians for the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and is also a ward corporator of Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
Kuntrapakam Prudhviraj is the son of Kuntrapakam Narasimha (Tirupati’s 25th Ward corporator from YSRCP) and when Hanuma Vihari shouted at him during the Ranji match, Prudhviraj got deeply hurt and complained to his father. Following the dispute, Narasimha reportedly used his ACA connections to get Vihari to resign as captain after his son was offended by the senior batter’s critical remarks about him during a match.
