Kultida shaped her son’s early years with love and discipline since she was incredibly committed to him. She instilled patience and tenacity in him by personally driving him to golf lessons and tournaments. According to People Magazine, she even contributed to his characteristic look by persuading him to wear red on Sundays for good fortune. As a devout Buddhist, she urged Tiger to go to monks once a year for spiritual balance and advice.

She was there for important events in Tiger’s life, such as his public apology in 2010, demonstrating her commitment to him beyond the course. In a heartfelt moment from 2009, Kultida Woods shared her greatest desire: to be Tiger’s mother again in her next life.

In addition to playing golf, Tiger financed his mother’s charitable endeavours, which have long included helping underprivileged Thai youngsters. Kultida Woods devoted her life to two schools: one that supported children with developmental problems and the other that provided shelter for girls who had been abandoned or orphaned.
