One well-known figure in the television industry is Kris Venugopal. In addition to appearing in well-known serials, he is a published author and voice actor.

Age 49 Kriss Venugopal recently married his second wife, age 40 Divya Sreedhar. The couple’s wish for a private and significant celebration was reflected in their wedding. Fans and entertainment industry colleagues have sent their best wishes to Kris and Divya.

The gifted actress Divya Sreedhar is well-known for her parts in a number of television shows. Serial viewers are familiar with her because of her fascinating performances in both negative and character roles. Working together on the well-known serial “Patharamattu,” where they played important roles, the two actors first crossed paths.

They got married at Guruvayur with family and close friends in attendance in what was the second marriage for both of them.

Kris had earlier revealed that his first marriage was a toxic one with the divorce proceedings beginning in 2019 with the two getting divorced in 2022. Kris was allowed to meet his parents or invite anyone whom by his first wife whose name isn’t known yet. Divya meanwhile has two children from her first marriage.

Divya and Kris first met on the set of the TV show Patramattu, where they became friends and eventually fell in love and a relative of Kris played cupid.

49-year-old Kriss Venugopal was born in Ernakulam, Kerala, India on October 4, 1975. He is 6ft tall.

He is the second child of Chartered Accountant A. K. Venugopalan and housewife R. Bhagialakshmy and grew up with his sibling Pushpa. The family, originally hails from Thanjavur but then relocated to Palakkad and then Kochi in Kerala.


In the middle of the 1980s, Kris’ parents relocated from Kochi to Bangalore and then back to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where Kris completing his school. During his childhood he showed avid interest in arts and held his first painting exhibition at Rama Varma Club, Ernakulam under the mentorship of his drawing tutor Mr. Vijayan of Adarsh School of Arts.

Kris attended the Christ Nagar English High School and Government Arts College and cleared his SSB for the NDA after completing his pre-degree program with the intention of becoming a pilot in the Indian Air Force, but he was forced to give up the dream due to family problems.

Kris, who has a doctorate and an LLB degree, is an experienced media and radio professional and used to earlier work as a radio jockey.

Kris is also a motivational speaker, writer, voice coach, and hypnotherapist and has completed an MSc in Psychology and courses in digital filmmaking.

Kriss Venugopal career

Shortly after earning his degree as a civil engineer from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, Kriss started his media career by modelling for ramps and making appearances in television shows in the late 1990s. He then worked for Asianet Television as a quiz master and TV host.

Additionally, he played a few bad characters in a number of television shows, including Megham, Sthree oru Santhwanam, and the soap opera Alippazham. He had the chance to work as a dubbing artist for soap operas at that time because of his voice.

In the Malayalam film “Radio Jockey” (2015), directed by Rajasenan, he made his Mollywood debut as Kriss. He also acted in unreleased Tamil films Arabuthaakku & Pasumaadu, Madhuranaranga, E, Poottu, Lonappante Mamodisa, and Malayalam movie Munnariyippu.

His first book was “Aatmavicaram” in English. He later wrote two books, “Shirolikhitham” in Malayalam and “Mouna porvayil manathu” in Tamil. “All you need is a hug” and “All you need is love” are two of his other novels. Kriss has also acted in a few award-winning Malayalam short films and authored short films that have garnered him praise.
