Who is Keyrol Figueroa?
The striker’s father, Maynor, a former defender who played 179 Premier League games for Wigan Athletic, was born on Aug 31, 2006, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and is just 16 years old and doing wonders.
A talented striker, Figueroa made his U18s debut in 2021–2022 as a U16 player. He was a U14 player when he joined the Academy.
Keyrol, a first-year scholar who is gifted with remarkable speed and can score fantastic goals, will play for the U18s in 2022–2023.
Keyrol Figueroa, who recently put up a great performance at the CONCACAF U-17 Championship, plays for the United States.
Having scored a brace earlier this week as the United States overcame Guatemala 5-3 to secure a spot at the U-17 World Cup later this year, Figueroa is tied for the tournament’s co-leading scorer with six goals.
Keyrol Figueroa was born in Honduras but moved to England as a young child when his father joined Wigan, a Premier League team at the time.
Keyrol eventually returned to England after signing with Liverpool, where he is currently a member of the club’s U-18 squad.
Even though his father has the most international appearances (181) in Honduran history and is also eligible to play for England, Keyrol has decided to represent the United States internationally.
