Officer Kevin was going to inspect aย complaint of an overdose on January 23, 2023, when the collision happened. He was shockingly traveling at 74 mph in a 25-mph zone, exceeding the posted limit, and sporadically sounding the police sirens, which is against accepted police procedure.
Not only this, but also the bodycam video released on Monday by the Seattle Police Department sheds insight on Officer Daniel Auderer’s actions at the scene. Officer Auderer, who had been sent to determine whether Officer Kevin Dave had been intoxicated at the time of the event, was shown on camera chuckling about the terrible collision.
