Twitter has erupted in favor of Ketaki Chitale, whose been in jail for one month after just being detained by the Maharashtra Police the previous month, know her age, tweet, post on Sharad Pawar, Instagram
Twitterers have questioned the validity of her detention for a social media post. On May 15, Ketaki was detained by Thane Cop’s criminal section for uploading a FB post critical of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. The NCP is a part of the Bombay administration which is run by the Shiv Sena.

Thane court grants bail to Marathi actor Ketaki Chitale in a case registered against her under Atrocities Act. She has been granted bail on a surety amount of Rs 25,000. However, she'll remain in jail as she is accused in another case in which the bail hearing is on June 21.

Lastly, Ketaki’s fans have now turned to Twitter to criticize the Maharashtra administration for imprisoning her for one month over a status update. They have criticized the Maharashtra authorities for restricting citizens’ freedom of expression.
