With the goal of developing and optimising their greatest professional potential, Sports Entertainment Group (SEG), an international talent management organisation, mentors more than 600 gifted individuals.

Their goal is to completely transform the talent agency sector. They work hard to establish new benchmarks for ethics and openness across the board in the sports and entertainment industries.

In 2000, Kees Vos and Alex Kroes, who were childhood friends, started SEG. Combining their unparalleled entrepreneurial skills with their love of sports, particularly football, was what made SEG successful.

SEG’s participation in the club’s business has increased when Vos’ close friend Erik Ten Hag was appointed manager, which resulted in the acquisitions of Rasmus Hojlund and Sofyan Amrabat.

At Manchester United, the Ten Hag’s agent is starting to have more sway. In the summer, the Dutchman was crucial in securing agreements for Sofyan Amrabat and Rasmus Hojlund. However, it was exclusively disclosed by SunSport that his increasing presence at the club is causing friction. Here is all you need to know about him.

Who is Kees Vos?

Kees Vos founded Sports Entertainment Group (SEG), an agency with more than 600 clients. He is the agent of Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag.

The super agent represents a number of people with connections to Dutch football, Ten Hag being one of them. Nigel, the manager’s son, works with SEG as an analyst as well.

Man Utd initially collaborated with them in 2012 when they signed Robin van Persie, and then again in 2013 when they signed Memphis Depay. Now back on the scene, SEG is the agent of £72 million player Rasmus Hojlund.

Despite doubts about Hojlund’s age and expertise, Ten Hag made a significant financial investment to get him in the summer. His greatest games have been in Europe, but he hasn’t scored in the league until Boxing Day.

Vos was previously involved in Robin van Persie and Daley Blind’s moves to United in 2012 and 2014 but United went nine years without recruiting one of his clients until Hojlund arrived in July and Cody Gakpo, also represented by Vos, was offered to United last year before he moved to Liverpool in December.

His agency SEG represented Rasmus Hojlund during his £72m move from Atalanta, with the Danish striker joining the agency towards the end of last season and they also acted for United in negotiations over the loan signing of Sofyan Amrabat from Serie A side Fiorentina.

Moreover, SEG were involved in selling United player Zidane Iqbal to Utrecht in June  two months after the 20-year-old joined from fellow major agency CAA Base.
