The pool is usually reserved strictly for hotel guests, and in the clip, Kaz claims to have entered the area using a staff-only route and climbing a ledge to reach the pool. The video quickly went viral, for the wrong reasons, triggering outrage and accusations of promoting illegal behavior.
Following all the intense backlash, Sawyer deleted the post and released an apology, saying that he never intended to disrespect Singapore or the hotel. However, he did not confirm whether the trespass was genuine and has since revealed that he’s been receiving “death threats and violent messages.”
