Kavya Karnatac started out her professional journey in content and education after completing her studies. She first served in various internships roles from writing for Petdom PaWish and Feminism in India to interning with various organizations like Culture Machine Media and Point of View. Kavya also taught at the NGO Udayan Care, where she conducted research on daily wage laborers.
She later joined Pocket Aces around 2020, where she worked as an associate producer before getting promoted to the role of senior producer for their non-fiction channel, Nutshell India. Kavya’s work mainly involved content strategy and execution, and sharpened her skills as a communicator and educator.
By January 2023, she launched her own Instagram-based educational platform called KK Create. Within just 10 months, the channel shot up, going from 50K to over a million followers. Kavya Karnatac also expanded her content to YouTube in February 2023, where she now has over 500K subscribers.
